Do I pay a fee per active student in addition to transaction fees?

No, organizations who use College Africa for internal use (do not sell courses to external people through their College Africa Website) pay a fixed fee per active student. While those who sell to the public pay only transaction fees.

What is an "active student"?

An active student is someone who has an active course during the billing period.

Are there any other fees?

No, we believe in transparent pricing. You only pay the active student fees or transaction fees as stated in your chosen plan.

Does College Africa offer special discounts for any organisations?

Yes. We offer special pricing for public schools with limited or no budgets for e-learning. You will need to contact our support team to determine if your organisation qualifies.

How much fees do I pay if my non-profit provides free courses?

We offer free plans for qualifying non-profit organizations. Contact us to discuss eligibility.

Can I switch between pricing plans?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Contact our support team to apply the changes to your account.

What payment methods do you accept for platform fees?

We accept all major credit/debit cards and mobile money payments in supported countries.

Is there a setup fee?

No, there is no setup fee for any of our general packages. However, we offer optional onboarding support services if you need assistance with migration and training.

What happens if I exceed the student threshold for volume discounts?

Your discounted transaction fee rate will automatically apply to all transactions once you reach the threshold (e.g., 300+ students for Pro plan, 500+ for Elite).
