Psychological safety and wellness are essential for healthy learning and working environments. When people feel safe to express ideas, ask questions, and make mistakes without fear, collaboration improves and well-being is strengthened. This course introduces the key principles behind psychological safety and connects them to everyday mental health and wellness practices.

Throughout the course, learners will explore how stress, communication, leadership, and organisational culture influence emotional and psychological well-being. Practical examples are used to show how unsafe environments can lead to burnout, disengagement, and reduced performance, while supportive environments encourage trust, creativity, and resilience.

The course also focuses on the individual. Learners will reflect on their own stress patterns, boundaries, and coping strategies, and learn simple, realistic techniques for maintaining personal wellness. Rather than promoting perfection or constant positivity, the course emphasises sustainable habits and shared responsibility for well-being.

This is a demonstration course designed to showcase how structured content, modules, and assessments can be delivered on College Africa. While the scenarios are illustrative, the concepts and practices presented are applicable to schools, universities, and workplace training contexts.
